The ASBA Process at Supabarn

  1. Apply for an ASBA over the web or at any of our stores. We’ll then make contact with you for an interview.
  2. If successful, you are employed on a part time basis (15 hours per week) and sign up to an apprenticeship.
  3. Come to work 1 day during the school week and 1 day on the weekend.
  4. At work you will attend classroom training as well as on-the-job training.
  5. You will earn a weekly wage as well as accrue holiday leave.
  6. At the end of the apprenticeship you will receive a nationally recognised qualification as well as be considered for a full time or part time position with the company.

Supabarn conducts its own training in-house, as it is also a privately registered training organisation. As an RTO, Supabarn is accredited to deliver training that meets nationally accredited standards as per the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

In 2008 Supabarn launched its own nationally recognised certificate programs. A certified program is recognised across Australia as meeting an accepted standard in a range of competencies. So while you work and learn at Supabarn, you will also earn a nationally accredited certificate.

The following accredited programs are offered:

  • Certificate II in Retail
  • Certificate III in Retail

At Supabarn we believe in promoting from within the organisation. If you have shown to be dedicated, and willing to give it your best shot, then just leave the rest up to us.

We’ll help you to achieve your goals. Along the way you are going to learn skills that will be with you for life. Skills that can be used in your next step up the ladder of success.
