We’re not just into quality and freshness on the shelves. Behind the scenes, Supabarn is committed to fresh thinking on how we can improve the quality of our environment, and encourage others to do the same.

We want our carbon footprint to be as tiny as possible. So wherever possible we reduce transportation and storage needs by buying from local producers. We carefully manage our stock, minimise whatever waste we produce, and recycle whatever we can.

Natural resources are precious, and we treat them that way. We’ve implemented water and energy saving initiatives across all of our stores, such as heat reclamation systems in our refrigeration plants.

And of course we encourage our customers to be clean and green, too, by offering them re-usable cloth bags at the checkout.
