Homemade Dog Biscuits
MAKES: APPROXIMATELY 20 • TOTAL TIME: 30 MINUTES
Ingredients:
150g wholemeal flour
100g rolled oats
100g smooth peanut butter
2 tbsp coconut oil
4 tbsp water
1 egg, beaten
Directions:
Preheat oven to 180˚C.
Blend flour and oats in a food processor until they are fine. Add to a large bowl.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat warm peanut butter and coconut oil with water and then add to the flour and oat mix. Add egg and stir until it forms a dough.
Roll dough out to 1-centimetre thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Use a cutter to cut into desired shapes and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
Cool biscuits then store in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks.
