Ingham's Perfect Roast Chicken
Ingredients:
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
1 Ingham's Whole Chicken
Directions:
Preheat conventional oven to 190°C/180°C fan forced.
Remove chicken from packaging and dispose of soaker pad.
Drizzle chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Tuck the wings underneath and place the chicken breast side up on a roasting dish.
Cook for 20-25 minutes per 500 grams of chicken or until cooked through.
Baste the chicken with cooking juices halfway through cooking.
Remove chicken from oven and allow 10 minutes to rest before carving.
