Light & Fluffy Scones
MAKES: 8 • TOTAL TIME: 20 MINUTES
Ingredients:
1 cup lemonade
1 cup cream
3 cups self-raising flour
1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 220˚C.
Add lemonade and cream to flour and mix to form a soft dough.
Turn out onto a floured surface and roll dough to a 2 centimetre thickness.
Using a floured cutter, cut out scones and place close together on a baking tray.
Brush with beaten egg and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with jam and cream.
